Second-in-Command (2IC)
Hills Family Dental in Kalamunda is looking for a motivated experience dental professional to take on 2IC Charge role at our busy and supportive dental practice.
About the role :
As 2IC in our thriving dental practice, you ll play a key role in providing high quality administrative assistance to practice clinicians as well engaging with patients in a positive and professional way.
You will work closely with the practice manager and support each other to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Your organizational skills will help to ensure the ongoing success of the practice and the satisfaction of patients.
Skills and experience
You have:
- Previous experience as senior receptionist in a similar role (at least 5 years)
- Proven dental assistant experience
- Must have at least Certificate III
- Sound computer literacy skill
- Previous experience using D4W
You are :
- Flexible with can-do attitude within a very busy practice
- Highly professional, with a polished image and good persona; presentation
- An excellent communicator both written and oral
- Extremely organized, with the ability to prioritize busy workload and manage multiple demands within required timeframe
Oral Health Therapist
Hills Family Dental Centre in Perth is a well-established and highly respected dental practice located in Kalamunda. We’re a 6 chair practice and have room. You will be working alongside 6 general dentists and our current amazing OHT.
What you’ll be doing
- Keeping smiles shining with professional cleanings, scaling and root planning
- Seeing and treating a mixture of children and adult patients
- Take X-rays and assist in the development of treatment plans
- Share your knowledge and help patients master their brushing and flossing game
- Assist dentists in the delivery of restorative and other dental procedures as needed within your scope of practice
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and practice protocols
What we’re looking for
- Registered Oral Health Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health or equivalent
- Experience working with children and periodontal disease.
- Excellent clinical skills and a love for building strong patient relationships.
- Thorough understanding of dental regulations, best practices and infection control protocols
- Experience with Dental4Windows (preferred)
